ChuckRoast Legal
On December 24th 2011 (Christmas Eve) at approximately 7:02 pm the 6 year veteran coder ChuckRoast of the Open Source content management system known as Pligg CMS was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. No breathalyzer or blood test was ever administered. It wouldn't matter anyway because ChuckRoast does not drink.

While processed, fingerprinted, photographed and questioned. ChuckRoast requested his legal right to counsel and was denied several times. Yes you are reading that correctly. Denied the right to legal counsel.

As ChuckRoast is widely known as a crusader for Open Source. Chuckroast spent his Christmas locked in a cell while everyone else enjoyed the fruits of his labor.

Please contribute to his legal defense fund. This situation has greatly effected ChuckRoast. His focus, and ability to provide to the Open Source community has been greatly effected by this. It would be a great loss to Open Source if we didn't help those that have given us so much.

Donate anything you can. Even 1 dollar would help
